落合研究室は"木質構造・木造建築・木材・木質材料”をキーワードに研究を行っております。

​当研究室の研究プロジェクトのほとんどは、実物スケールの構造物を製作します。
また、これらは学生自身の手で木材を加工・施工行うことを前提としています。
木造建築の設計をする際、接合部の設計が肝要です。
接合部の設計技術は、自分自身で木材を加工し施工する経験でしか身に付けることができません。
そして、ものづくりの楽しさや完成した時の喜びを感じることが何よりも重要です。

当研究室は、国内では珍しい実践的なプロジェクトをとともに木造建築教育を行う研究室です。
研究活動を通じて、木造建築のプロフェッショナルを輩出することを教育目標としています。

Ochiai Laboratory conducts research with the keywords "wood structure, wood architecture, wood, and wood materials.

Most of our research projects involve the fabrication of full-scale structures.
In addition, these projects are based on the premise that students will work with wood and construct the structures by themselves.
When designing a wooden structure, the design of joints is crucial.
The skill of designing joints can only be acquired through the experience of processing and constructing timber by oneself.
And the most important thing is to feel the joy of manufacturing and the pleasure of completion.

Our laboratory is one of the few laboratories in Japan that conducts wooden architecture education together with practical projects.
Through our research activities, our educational goal is to produce professionals in wooden architecture.
